Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Dubai H.E.Mr.Javidan Huseynov met with Director General of the Ruler’s Court of Dubai H.E.Mr.Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani.

On the 7th of  January, 2019, Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Dubai and Northern Emirates H.E.Mr.Javidan Huseynov met with Director General of the Ruler’s Court of Dubai H.E.Mr.Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani.

During the meeting, Consul General J.Huseynov noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE are based on common historical, religious and cultural links, and expressed with satisfaction the succesfull development of the bilateral relations with the Dubai Emirate. Consul General J.Huseynov underlined that these bilateral ties dynamically develop under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E.Mr.Ilham Aliyev and the President of the United Arab Emirates, H.H.Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Highly appreciating the development of the fruitfull cooperation in different fields between the two states Director General M.Shaibani noted that he had visited Azerbaijan several times, and these visits gave him a good, friendly and deep impression. M.Shaibani stressed that Azerbaijan became one of the main tourist destinations for Arab tourists due to security, favorable climate and distance proximity between the countries. Furthermore M.Shaibani asked about the flights between Azerbaijan and UAE.

Consul General J.Huseynov informed the interlocutor that currently Azerbaijan Airlines - AZAL, Etihad Airways, Fly Dubai and Air Arabia carry out direct flights between the two countries and he mentioned that according to the statistics, most tourists visiting Azerbaijan among the Arab countries, are from the United Arab Emirates.

The sides also exchanged their views on the issues of mutual interest.
